Cribbage Groups

A cribbage board and playing cards

Every fourth Tuesday (Cribbage group 1) and second Wednesday (Cribbage group 2) of the month, a cosy gathering takes place at the Morrison’s Community Room. This isn't just any ordinary get-together—it's a cherished tradition for a group of seniors who have made cribbage their game of choice. The room is filled with the comforting warmth of friendship, laughter, and the unmistakable sound of cards being shuffled.

The group is a diverse mix of personalities, each with their own stories to share. jovial adventurers whose tales of travel and adventure add an extra layer of excitement to the afternoon.

Between games, the group takes a break for coffee and a box of biscuits especially fig which seems to be enjoyed by all. Conversations flow easily, ranging from updates on grandchildren to reminiscing about the "good old days".

As the afternoon draws to a close, the group reluctantly packs up their boards, already looking forward to the next gathering. Though the games may end, the bonds of friendship forged over countless rounds of cribbage remain strong, a testament to the enduring joy of a simple game played among friends.
