Who can believe it is now over 40 years since "Les Miserables" the famous musical opened their doors and performed such unbelievable, unforgettable songs and music!

We are lucky we have "Kinema in the Woods" not too far away and it has become a favourite place for Spalding & District U3A to go to and share memorable experiences together!  Today, the 12th of February was no exception. 43 of us travelled there and had a private viewing of this most wonderful 40th Anniversary Concert that Cameron Mackintosh again produced.

We took our seats and I expect I speak on behalf of each of us there that once the orchestra began and the performers appeared we were absolutely spellbound....  We had the world's best professional musicians and singers entertaining us for 182 minutes and each song and performer just appeared relentness in their perfection, power and magnificence.

It was an unforgettable concert we were so fortunate to witness. To see it on a large screen with the best acoustics available, it was an absolute delight.
