The game of Mah Jong was developed in the 19th century in China and is generally played by four players. It’s a tile-based game with 144 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols. Players start with 13 tiles and draw and discard tiles until they have formed four sets and a pair or complete one of the class of special hands.
It is fairly easy to learn but probably takes a lifetime to master. We can teach the basics to anyone who wants to learn. Like all games it’s a sociable way to spend a couple of hours.
