A History group presentation

The group is member led; each month members present to the group a topic in which they are interested. It can be about anything. In recent months, members have presented on emigration to the US in the nineteenth century, globalisation as experienced by one of the first “trolley dollies”, and a link between a shrine in St Albans and a Lincolnshire town.

The next few months will see the culmination of talks on the Knights Templar and one on Lincolnshire murderers.

If the thought of presenting does not appeal, please do not let that put you off. Come along and see what there is on offer, you may find your next great interest!

If you are a member of our u3a and would like to join this group or would like further details, please contact the group's leader (see the group information above). For non-members please contact the Groups Co-ordinator.
